"We booked a week before, and were phoned on a bank holiday the day before travelling by the taxi company itself, 'Prestige Executive Chauffeurs'/'Canary Wharf Minicabs' (appeared to be operating under a few names), trying to force us to pay £100 supplementary to take the exact amount of bags advertised on Taxicode for the size of car we had booked (the hand luggage items appeared to be the problem despite it being within the stated allowance and there only being 2 of us in a 4-seater). However, we referred the issue to Taxicode and they dealt with it promptly and efficiently, rebooking us with 'Southern Counties Travel'. The service we received from them was excellent- friendly driver John, chatty and easy journey! They had upgraded us without a fee to an 8-seater, I imagine due to the ongoing crisis, which was fab! An easy experience."
